RSKO Jakarta Conducts Health Education Program at Menzikon/CRK Pusziad
Jakarta, July 11, 2025 – The Supporting Services and Hospital Health Promotion Team (PKRS) of RSKO Jakarta conducted a health education program at Menzikon/CRK Pusziad, Indonesian Army (TNI AD).
The event was held at the Menzikon/CRK Pusziad Hall and was attended by approximately 90 participants under the supervision of Major Dewa Utama, Head of Information Affairs of Menzikon/CRK Pusziad. The program aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of the hidden dangers of drug abuse through promotive and preventive health approaches.
The educational session was delivered by representatives of RSKO Jakarta, Ms. Intan Endang Sonata, SKM, MKM, and Ms. Euis Sayyidah, AMD.
During the session, RSKO Jakarta provided health education based on the implementation of the P4GN Program (Prevention and Eradication of Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking).
The P4GN framework consists of several strategic approaches, including:
- Soft Power Approach, focusing on rehabilitation, community empowerment, and prevention.
- Hard Power Approach, focusing on law enforcement and eradication efforts.
- Smart Power Approach, emphasizing collaboration and cooperation among stakeholders.
The health education program was specifically tailored to military personnel. The activities included lectures, interactive discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. Participants who successfully answered questions received souvenirs from RSKO Jakarta.
Drug abuse prevention education is one of the promotive and preventive health initiatives routinely carried out by Health Promotion Officers at RSKO Jakarta.
During the presentation, Ms. Intan Endang Sonata and Ms. Euis Sayyidah discussed topics including:
- Understanding Narcotics and Addictive Substances (NAPZA)
- The Hidden Dangers of Drug Abuse
- Practical Ways to Prevent Substance Abuse
- The Benefits of Understanding the Risks Associated with Drugs and Addictive Substances
The speakers emphasized that:
“Substances become dangerous when they are misused.”
Major Dewa Utama expressed his hope that military personnel would become more aware of the severe consequences of drug abuse and avoid any involvement with illicit substances, stating:
"We hope that all military personnel will be more cautious and avoid violations related to drugs because the consequences are extremely serious, and we all have families who depend on us."
Drug abuse, commonly referred to as narcotics abuse, has been declared an extraordinary crime by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Prabowo Subianto.
According to data published by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) in the Indonesia Drug Report 2025, the number of drug-related criminal cases in Indonesia reached 46,748 cases.
As a one-stop service center for substance use disorder treatment and rehabilitation, RSKO Jakarta continues to play an important role in safeguarding future generations through prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and public education initiatives.
This health education activity was made possible through the commitment and awareness of Menzikon/CRK Pusziad regarding the importance of educating personnel about the dangers of substance abuse and supporting the implementation of the P4GN program.
The event also introduced participants to the concepts of narcotics and addictive substances, helping them better understand the risks and consequences of drug misuse.
RSKO Jakarta welcomes requests from government institutions, educational institutions, schools, and universities seeking health education programs on the prevention of drug abuse.
